No proper dress and for livelihood they expose themselves to the wild animals And the policy makers sit in their posh office In Air conditioned room.........This is the present picture of the society and the jungle so nicely you have painted dear Asim. Officer in the airconditioned room can't imagine the heat of summer on workers. Well depicted.....10
And the policy makers sit in their posh office In Air conditioned room With nice pictures hanging on their walls Of the Jungle A tourist place and a source of income for them. A lovely poem on irony..................10
The contrasting picture on either side of the coin does not augur well. While part one of the story relates to wildlife as a source of enjoyment to people, the other part unveils the grave dangers which the workers and forest guards are subjected to in their day to day life. Thanks for such an objective portrayal of the situation.
Very well said Rajnishji, Recently I had been to Tadoba Jungle and was fortunate to see the Tiger...It came near our Safari Jeep and was just 7 to 10 meters away, this was such a close encounter and within 5 min I could see as many as 20 vehicles encircling it just for photo session and news....When I saw the life beyond the curtain it was really pathetic, we as a tourist enjoyed every moment of our stay but when I interacted with the people working there it was just the opposite of what they project. I thought of taking it as a subject for my poem today, Thanks for your nice comments...Sir.
everywhere the workers are exploited and so are the animals good write Asim
Great observation, you have keen eyes and sharp mind to access and analyse things around you, Asim. God bless u.
Life in the jungle is difficult for human beings, especially for the workers! For the tourists, it is a different story. They get the best accommodation and they are there just for sight seeing and enjoyment! But the tribals who live in the forests and the forest guards have a tough time combating the wild animals. They live in the interiors, far removed from all facilities of life! You have drawn the dual picture in a nice way!
