Jump In The Fire Poem by Sven Rhoads

Jump In The Fire

I can feel the failure tearing my skin
Crimson anguish comes seeping through
Stars are watching my every single move
Testing my will to see if I stay the course so true

Fight against the demons of mind
Withstand the torture of all unsaid
The jewel if the north that I must find
As I jump in the fire that I have fed

Evil of the darkest shadows
Serrated smiles have left me hollow
Angels now become deceivers
I stand against the coming reapers

Will the eyes of the fjords look upon me
The snow white skin and wind whispered voice
Call to me when you see me burning
Your soothing embrace will smother the flames

I will fight the brimstone odds
I will try to stand when smoke has cleared
Will you wait for those flames to die
Before you pull me into your loving arms

Are you coming from the bright north star
Or you waiting for me to walk out the fire
