Judiciary Firms It Up Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Judiciary Firms It Up

Media stories creating impact
Trust is tossed, like a ball
Democracy becoming a circus
Falling pregnant through the mob
Where the politicians swing
Between the truth and untruth
Between the ends so flexible-
Resorting back to the game of fun
Playing the same old blame-game
A game at the cost of people-
And people forgetting and forgiving
Unforgettable betrayals and so on.

See-saw politics knocking at the door
Restoring back to the familiar drama
Where the common man starves
And politicians, getting starred.

So called god men appeal for peace
But, their goons spirituality farce
Contemptuous to the law and order
Preaching peace, that conditions apply
All's well, exoneration sham-
But, the god men do no wrong.

Using iron fists against an evil-
Like Baba-Culture, in social system
A total mockery of law and order
By the stubborn enforcement agencies
What role can judiciary play at times?
Higher Judicial system firms it up.
