So be it, God, I take what Thou dost give,
And gladly give what Thou dost take away.
For me Thy choice is barren days and grey.

In the end, as we face the judgement of God Almighty, through His verdict we'll be able to judge for ourselves what kind of God he truly is. A poetic creation of the highest calibre.

He listens obeys the lord but when he meets him he wants to know why of everything. I can understand the feeling and i will judge you now cause you will have to answer to me. Never seen this take on the afterlife before interesting

Not only is it well penned, it's a thought provoking statement that if God exists he's prepared to argue with him!

Only a poet can think about such things else to Judge the God is just beyond the imagination as well, we do not have brains nor the judgemental power, Its all given by Him only. Thought provoking poem.

To tell me why. And as Thou answerest, So shall I judge Thee, God, not Thou judge me......wow superb expression on the judgement of God; though the judgement of God is seemingly neutral; but in the subtle observation that's not like we think at all; the poem so acutely and wisely written the last line....great, impressive

God is Kind and Gracious. Hope, He will forgive his audacity.

Beautiful words and beautiful thoughts and a desire to judge God on his own judgement. Good words.

Great poem all round. Am sure God would like to answer all questions. He is not wily and crooked like us. The poet is a scientist and wants to know stuff. Perfectly legit. The trouble with people who claim to know God is that you dont. You are just playing politics with weak minded peoples minds. Everything God created obeys science so if you want to find God use science. Simple. Faith prayer etc spare us the politics.

A Very Gutsy Poem echoing through the universe of inexplicable injustices. This is the vulnerable reality we live in if we choose. Nonetheless positivity brings us out of this intolerable darkness and warrants more chances than scorning God Himself.

A most intimate conversation of a devotee with the God telling him that he was happy with every thing given to him by Him after judging his merits etc from time to time and telling the God thaton the day of real judgement while leaving the body and proceeding towards heavenly abode, He will definitely judge the God. A great classic indeed.

' So be it God, I take what Thou dost give, And gladly give what thou dost take away.' The vanity of life, nice poem deserving of poem of the day
