Judgement Day

On the scale of balance I stand
Where it tilt I ponder
As it swings to take a bearing
Based on my conduct on earth
Conscience on the mark in question
Daily assessment a necessary exercise
To prepare one for the D-day
For the judge on the throne is just
And impartial unlike men
