Joy In The Morning Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

Joy In The Morning

Rating: 5.0

On my days off during my working years
I would set my alarm clock for six a.m.
When the alarm went off
I would have the great pleasure
of turning it off and going back to sleep.
Try It!

Better yet, try incorporating all of those in a poem. I MAY TRY THAT. bri : )

Hank, this sounds more like a quote than a poem. How about spicing it up wth humor, rhyming, , mystery, murder, or a story of your athleticism in the 1968 Olympics? ? bri : )

I'm much too lazy for that. I would rather not have to bother turning off the alarm (or setting it) . I enjoyed reading this anyway!
