A Coffee shop for lost souls
Kindred spirits staring out of frosted glass
Every sip from a warm cup hanging onto hope
Lost in crowded Spaces
Spot of grey in a world of colour
Judging eyes felt upon your every step
People walking past in their own bubble
Never knowing the pain of fellow human's past
Sense of dread kicks in, life's eternal grim
A dream of normality, in the nightmare of reality.
Shackles weighing down a heavy heart
Waiting for the answers to depart
Vision of kindness just starts with hello
Face lights up, the expectation that someone cares
Kindness of a stranger, or just self-falseness in disguise
Love in a conversation, courage in opening up
Unlocking a cage, to open a door, wouldn't it be nice to believe again
Navigating minds chaotic maze help the goal we keep seeking
Like a living tree exposed on all sides and to all elements
Journey to the place you want to be
Not the place you think the world wants to see
