The repeated question at the end is the heartbeat of this poem; a resonance lingering long after reading it, filled with melancholia...I absolutely love it!

It's impossible for the reader to take this any way other than slow-paced and contemplative. I enjoy the subtle rhyme scheme, which I only really noticed afterwards, which contributes to the pensive nature of the piece, the flow. t x
