Great use of words, similes and metaphors. A thought provoking poem. jezebel, symbol of an immoral and impudent woman, was the wife of an Israili king (I don't remember the name perhaps Akhyab) ....Ephemera is an insect having very short life span perhaps one day only. Ephemerality, venality and vileness of love seems bold and cruel but very true....Drowning in a vortex of kisses, what a beautiful line knowledgeably written, it reminds me cartesian philosopher Rene. In philosophy Vortex means revolution of universal matter around the centre. I really enjoyed this poem and I would like to read more poems from you Roshini. I would also like you to read my poems especially ' NO Life Span For Love And Dreams ', a different version of love.
