Jezebel Poem by Randy McClave

Jezebel

Whatever you might say or do
I still want to get even with you,
I want you in pain and to suffer
It will make me stronger, and tougher.
I want to do to you what you did to me
In every sense and every degree,
I want to lie about you then cheat and steal
Then I wanna see just how you feel.
To you I wanna make promises that I will break
I wanna give you a heartache,
I want you to then help me with my bills
Then I want you to give me excitement and thrills.
I want you to help me find work
When you do, I won't give you a thank you as a perk,
Then when everyone at us is looking
I will ignore you, and I will be out cooking.
I will tell you the words that you wanna hear
But, those same words I will whisper in someone else's ear,
Then when you and I are kissing
I will tell you someone else I am truly missing.
I want you to buy me many presents
Then I want you to take me to many events,
Then when my true emotions are buts and ifs
I will then tell everyone that someone else gave me the gifts.
I want you to feel exactly how I had felt
When hate, sin and evil from you to me was dealt,
Then when you are walking on depression's path
At you I will then honestly smile, and then laugh.
I truly want to hurt you so badly
But............ I am a Christian as I profess it gladly,
The Devil was trying to control my thoughts
He was tying up my memories into tiny knots.
You had done me wrong that is a true fact
You were a Jezebel to be exact,
But, never again to you will I rage or rant
To treat you the way you treated me, I just can't.
