That, which mind cannot comprehend,
But by which mind can understand;
That, which eyes cannot see,
By which eyes can see;
That, which ears cannot hear,
By which ears can hear;
That, which is not aided by breath,
Due which breath breatheth;
Know thou that alone Brahman,
Not that which is pursued by men.

yat manasā na manute yena āhuh manah matam | Kena 1.06 |
yat chakśhuśhā na pashyati yena chakśhūmśhi pashayti | Kena 1.07 |
yat shrotreņa na shŗņoti yena shrotram idam shrutam | Kena 1.08 |
yat prāņena na prāņitiyena prāņah praņīyate |
tat eva brahma tvam viddhina idam yat idam upāsate | Kena 1.09 |
