Jesus Is Our Saviour Poem by Catherine Casey

Jesus Is Our Saviour

Jesus is our saviour.
We should call him Lord.
Heaven has been opened.
The covenant restored.

Chorus

Those gates were opened.
Those gates were opened wide.
Opened on a hillside
Where our saviour died

Thunder and the earthquake.
Torn - the veil in two.
God has suffered with us.
For what more could he do?

Adam’s seed has journeyed -
Resting here today.
Sin has died in Jesus.
He came to pay the way.

Go and tell to others
What you hear today.
New life now forever.
Try live it every day.
