To think that Jesus died for you and stayed there on the Cross,
This was the thing the King must do, to overcome sin's loss.
To pay the price to set you free, eternal life to give,
Behold the King of Calvary who died so you could live.
To think that Jesus suffered all, determined to the end,
As if His final miracle, to prove He was your friend.
To pay for all the sins you've done, yet not for you alone,
Behold the King of Love, God's Son, now seated on His Throne.
To think that Jesus rose again, that's what the Bible says,
I pray you thank God now and then, as I do in my prayers.
Beyond the signs and wonders found, in Heaven and on Earth,
The love of God can still astound to prove your soul has worth!
