Jesus - And - John - The - Baptist Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Although John
the Baptist
had come as
the voice crying
in the wilderness,
preparing the way
of the Lord God,
and although many
believed in Him
and were saved,
John was not able
to complete his mission.

Similarly, the Jews
failed to recognise
who Jesus was and
why Jesus came
and they refused
to believe in His name.

He paid the complete
price for sin through
His horrible death
on the holy cross.
