Jealousy Poem by Abdul-Qadir Abdul-Mumin

Jealousy

Rating: 5.0

I'm jealous of the trees;
Because you enjoy their air.
I'm jealous of the breeze;
You like it too and its not fair.
I'm jealous of the sun;
Because you like it's light.
I'm jealous of the fan;
You turn it on and enjoy with delight.
I'm jealous of the ocean;
You jump into it even though you fear.
I'm jealous of the moon;
You say it beautiful, I cannot bare.
I'm jealous of the birds;
They sing and you listen attentively.
I'm jealous of the bed;
You rest in it too comfortably.
I'm jealous of everything
if it has something to do with you
I'm jealous of anything
That comes between me and you
