A profound emotion and feelings of love so nicely released in the poem, that would touch every heart that loves. I admire your deep appreciation for your demised husband. I guess, the last line of the poem would shed a drop or two of tears from many other eyes that read this poem, as I can see my assumption being already authenticated by the Poetess of Love, Sandra Feldman. Ours is January 27th. We celebrated our 40th anniversary while we were visiting our son in Melbourne this year.

Death took you from this life, when you were still very young. But her love for you, remains a song, that everyday is sung. life, experiences, facts, sorrow, love that goes beyond death. so we believe in a resurrection. tony

So lovely, and loving. I wonder if you would feel the same if you'd reached a 30th anniversary. I've been married for about 30 years, but it is not so easy to calculate the years as i have to total up years married to four wives (3 divorces!) , including the longest lasting one, my present 'love'. I 'love' the rhyming, and, well...everything i guess about your work here. to MyPoemList and maybe to share with others here. bri :) my latest anniversary is Jan.28.

I am at a loss as to how to respond. A romance, an epic journey, a tragedy, in so few lines.

What a deeply emotional and far reaching poem. It beautifully cut right thru me and I felt some of your pain. I must confess, I cried. This wonderful poem is a palpitating example that writing extraordinary poetry is never in vain. So sorry for your loss.
