It's War Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

It's War

It's war.
The battles always fought inside your head.
It's always the words left unsaid.
Left unsaid.
I wish you would.
I wish you could.
Paralyzed from the pain.
Looking for someone to blame.
Looking through a dust cloud in vain.
Keep telling yourself you will change.
For better or worse.
Words so rehearsed.
The right questions for our daily digestion.
I keep telling you it's war, it's war.
A fight till there is only one man left standing.
Causalitys aplenty.
Just surviving is never enough.
So unsatisfying.
Give me blood and glory.
Give me a hero of some forsaken love story.
Make me out to be the villain.
But please let me keep my honor.
I'm more then willing to be bad guy.
Just give my top hat, and I will be your gangster.
But just remember it's war.
There will be no holding or going back.
Once the decision been made.
Marching upon your disgrace.
Why does this life always feel like a race.
Why can't we just slow down and enjoy the moment for just a moment.
Serenity the fantasy of this fiction.
A picture book with no happy ending.
Violence everywhere you look.
Liars and thieves this is the company you keep.
And when you sink it will be deep.
There will be no rescue coming to save you.
Not even of your memory.
Scorched earth.
A desert swallowing you for miles.
It's war and there will no prisoners.
It's war, there will be no walking away or absolute surrender.
Death will be our maker.
Our creator.
Destroying my heaven to make your hell.
Definitely digging two graves.
Expectations no optimistic point of view.
The wound runs deep.
And now it's war, its war, the ultimate sacrifice for your absolute destruction.
There no coming back.
For the last time it's war.
Till the mind, body, and soul is destroyed.
