It's Time To Say Goodbye Poem by Tyler Cobb

It's Time To Say Goodbye

When I got in my accident,
I got left behind,
All my friends moved on with life,
And didn't keep me in mind
and they all treated me very unkind
They judged me by a false opinion,
They wouldn't see the truth,
Despite physical problems, I'm still the same guy they knew from their youth.
But instead they judged me and put me down. Because it gave them something to laugh at when my head fell down.
It gave them a laugh that made them smile, but they didn't see it was slowly killing Me inside all of the while.
It's been over 20 years and still they remain absent in my life. So they are now going to be deleted from/ and cut out with a knife. By that I mean cut from my mind and removed. So that they can no longer bring me down the memories of growing up with them will be shoved in a corner of my mind; where they are hidden, cannot find. Yes it's sad because all the great memories I have from growing up. But the memory that I have the most is when I needed them and they turned away I told them I needed a friend and asked them to be there but still they heard me, and just didn't care. So it's been over 20 years and I'm tired of trying. I'm not going to let them continue to bring me down they're now being pushed in the water where they can drown. As I say goodbye I will be able to lift that burden up off of me. When I see them in the future, I'm sure I will tell them. I'm sorry it had to be this way, but still. Treat people kinder to keep them around. And not be told here's the response to you i found. 🖕🖕
