It Was My God Poem by Rachel Hughes

It Was My God

It Was my God who put the royal star of David in each star ruby.

It was my God who choose the color and shape, when made each drusy.

It was my God who made the ancient water in the opals, burn with brilliant fire.

It was my God who made the emeralds, beryl, and sapphires.

My God made diamonds so strong, that they captivate light.

My God made the only store house of tanzanite.

My God carved the canyons and engraved each mountain side.

It was my God who hung the moon and commanded it to pull the tide.

It was my God who made the sun, moon, and bloodstones

It was my God, and he did it all alone.
