I must commend you for the wonderful title you have given to your poem, and even more wonderful note that you have added at the end. This is my life's Equinox - a super poetic expression! 'It seems I’m done with the season of merchandise. It’s equally nice simply to be.' - A simple and beautiful thought, a true perspective discovered!
well it is nice and I glad you have the weather not so in my land
I have reread this beautiful poem of yours and liked it so much again. I am much impressed by your choice of appropriate words. Not many poets have a rich stock of words as you do. The 'Vernal Equinox' is approaching again. I hope you enjoy it as much as you did, or perhaps, more than that. 'This is the season of returning to basics, returning to myself. This is my life's Equinox.' - So well said! 'earrings to wed the petal-pink bangles and bracelets to chime necklaces and floral scarves to festoon the feminine form and dangle from my rhyme barrettes to kiss the firmament and shoes to marry the clime' - Loved these poetic expressions. 'The Spring I seek is loamy soil clumping beneath my fingernails as snails and worms and potato-bugs wiggle to life the wonders of bloom.' - Loved these deep thoughts. 'It seems I’m done with the season of merchandise. It’s equally nice simply to be.' - An apt conclusion. Finally, my special appreciation for the title and the notes, besides the beautiful poem.
