It's What I Noticed Poem by Tammi Celina Lyons

It's What I Noticed

Compare me and her, and tell me what’s so similar?
I see a lot of things that I don’t see in her.
I’m making this easier for you if you just hear me out.
But you shut me up telling me without doubt.
How can I say that I even feel the same for you
Since you’re the one showing your real color.
It’s a price that I wanted you to know
That you gave up on me, on us.
I risked everything for you
So we could be together and when I did you throw it all in my face.
What’s there to know when your hurting my space.
You lied.
You cheated.
You hurt me so many times that I for gave you.
Not this time.
Not in my free will that I will let you hurt me again.
She may not be me but she will never be me.
You know that already.
You can’t shut me up any longer I’m free.
Away from danger and away from you.
Goodbye honey,
But remember no one in this world will never love you like I did.
