Thank you, Talia. I am not sure how it could have helped you with your assignment on Africa, as I didn't say anything about Africa, just the effect it has on me, but I am glad it did.

Wow, Fabrizio! Aren't you one of the 6 great poets that wrote a book with Galina Italyanskaya, a very good friend of mine (and a second book I think too) ? Thank you for your lovely words and for putting it into your Favourite List too.

thank you, dear Diana. Yep, but I'm 'great' only regarding my 'height'.. since I'm 1,91 cm tall :) BTW, since that 1st collective ebook, we've published 10 Anthologies! :) It would be a honor to have one of your beautiful poems in a nex ebook.. Think about.. ;)

Thank you, Bob for loving my beloved Africa too - and for enjoying my poem so much! - and to you, too, sorry for being 7 years late in seeing your reply! No, I couldn't leave either. I couldn't even leave my much loved (ordinary) house, and especially not my indigenous forest garden, many of the original trees of which were given to me as birthday or Christmas presents by my children when they were small.

Thank you, Cindy! Sorry, to you too, only to have seen your reply 7 years on! Yes, I am an African of the first water! Lovely to meet, another! Yes, there is a magic in Africa, , that isn't found anywhere else in the world. Once you have fallen in love with Africa, the passion for Africa never leaves you. Thank you for putting this into your Favourites.

Sicelo, ngiyakubona! Angisazi ukukhuluma isiZulu kahle, kodwa ngiyazama njalo! I am sorry I have only just seen your reply now,7½ years later! Oh NOOOO! I would NEVER be ashamed of being truly born of Africa! I adore my country, South Africa and my continent, Africa passionately and I am very proud and happy to be born of Africa. Thank you for your lovely comment and I am equally glad that you share this feeling with me. I have a lot of poetry about my beloved Africa, probably not all posted here yet as I have only posted less than half of my poems here so far. I keep meaning to post more, but time is a huge issue.
