Sometimes I don't know why I try,
When all I do is make you cry,
Whenever you needed me I was there,
But now I feel like you don't care,

I was there when I was needed,
Although I didn't like how I was treated,
The things we did and all we said,
Will now forever be in my head,

Why I tried I still don't know,
But the feelings I have will not go,
The pain I felt when you broke my heart,
I knew it was coming from the start,

The stuff that happened in my head,
Make me wish that I was dead,
I realise now I'm only a friend,
And I want to keep it until the end,
