It's Only Just Begun Poem by Mockingjay Mellark

It's Only Just Begun

(Parody of We've Only Just Begun)

It's only just begun, to be cold
White flurries and promises
Of more to come thats on it's way
(It's only just begun)
No more warmth from the sun, we shiver
Leaving the house or school
We'll start out walkin' and end up in a run
(And yes, it's just begun)
Watching the horizons for a speck of sun
Crunching through the snow that's in the way
Wishing it was over, this cold winter
Wearing a thick coat day to day
Feels like forever
And when the springtime comes, we smile
So much of warmth is up ahead
There's sun to help the greenery to grow
(But I know it has not yet begun)
Watching the horizons for a speck of sun
Crunching through the snow that's in the way
Wishing it was over, this cold winter
Wearing a thick coat day to day
Feels like forever
Forever
And when the springtime comes, we smile
So much warmth is up ahead
There's sun to help the greenery to grow
(But I know it has not yet begun)
