Unless this is a synical poem............. One thing I know...mother's tend to protect perps...I know...my own mother tried to protect my brother from what he did, but..I am her daughter, so why did he come first. just like in your poem, there is no excuse for a man to force himself on a woman or child. How sad that some mother's want to protect the montsers they have created... My only solace is karma...blessings
