Great poem and very true. The problem is that people believe that mental illness is caused by evil spirits which is nonsense. There is a scientific explanation. Mental illness is caused by severe imbalance in serotonin and dopamine. There are drugs which regulate these imbalances so there is no need for someone to suffer. I have had first hand experience with D.I.D which is even more comlex. Check out my poem " D.I.D" . You are not alone
