Your poem is a river Charles, with all the characteristics of the real thing. Within it, all of those flowing images carry us deep into the heart of this very powerful metaphor, where it becomes as easy to feel it as it is to understand it. You achieved an almost transcendental effect with this. A brilliant and heartfelt composition. You've lived and seen all the facets of this river and it really shows. jim
