In the early morning
The village singer was walking
Through the dusty road,
While walking, he was singing
A sweet song with great joy and pleasure,
I was listening to it
With rapt attention from a nearby place,
The melodious song was floating
In the pleasant morning air
And I felt every object of nature
Was listening to it spellbound,
The birds, the hedge crickets, the trees, the meadows, the ponds-
All were absolutely charmed,
The magnificent song created a divine atmosphere,
Gradually the lovely song became obscure in my ears,
As the great singer went away farther and farther,
Finally I could hear it no more,
But the wonderful song remained
In my mind forever.
As the great singer went away farther and farther, Finally I could hear it no more, But the wonderful song remained In my mind forever. - - It is marvelous to be with the mother nature early in the morning. It is so relaxing and the best food for our soul. Even though we don't hear the melodious bird song no more, it gets registered in our memory. I can hear you. Anjandev, I really enjoyed reading your poem. Great poem full of vivid imagery. Well done! 10+
