It Had An L Poem by Richard D Remler

It Had An L

.................

I read a something just today ~
It had an L, an R, an A.
A consonant, even a noun.
I must confess, it was profound.

I read it once, Just to be fair.
I read it twice, since it was there.
I read it three whole times, then four.
And then I read the thing once more.

And I'll be honest! It was grand!
Sometimes a great read can't be planned.
It just happens, like it did today,
And it had an L, an R, and an A.
