A nicely crafted poem on summer holidays. There is fun and games to enjoy the holidays. Congrats.
Casting shadows across the ground, Giving off rays to turn the skin golden brown. The sun is at it's brightest in the early afternoon, All this fun starts in the month of June! .. this is beautiful., simply beautiful congrats for becoming POD.

Yes, as per the Persian calendar summer starts on June 21st (Tir 1st) Summer is my own favorite season too. since I believe life is more current in summer, congratulations for being selected as the poem of day.

A nice balance of rhyme and rhythm. Work with other forms of rhyme in particular to prevent a sense of monotony that comes from the rhyming couplet. Well written poem keep writing.
