Isis Poem by soren Barrett

Isis

I long to hide in the soft curtain of night
my shivering soul wrapped in the warmth of a thick blanket of blackness
my mind to bury on the breast of darkness
suckling at the sweet shadows of slumber
for in my world reality becomes the nightmare
and I pray to awaken to dreams
