well, a mixed bag of comments on this poem, which can only be expected! and that is ONE of the reasons mankind is in such turmoil, even though many humans still have the good life.......while others suffer daily or at least once in a while. being a professed agnostic, i don't currently believe God exists, but i concede that there may be One. but, as Thomas strongly suggests, God (if He/She/It does exists) is failing to provide such bounty as Sunpricess (see comment below) says God provided at first. AND i disagree (sort of) with the comment by Patricia Grantham, in which she says He does not make us do anything. how can she say that immediately after saying God... gave humans free choices.? ? ? if we have to make our own choices, among which is the choice to believe in God or not, then i guess that takes God off the hook. but in the church (lutheran) i was raised 'in', i was taught that if we chose NOT to believe in God and Jesus, we would surely go to Hell and burn with all the other nonbelievers. oh yeah, we might also have to say sorry for our sins before we die; i'm not sure if that is a requirement for entry into heaven. :) bri thanks for sharing. i think YOU are rhyming. my favorite lines: The World is screaming, torn by war and blight. White collared men place all the blame on Man, for God is Love, and love is blinding light. But Love lies bleeding in His Master plan.

God the Creator of all mankind gave humans free choices. He does not make us do anything. We acknowledge Him in showing our love and concern for others for God is love. Thought provoking write.

Yes, I take your point of view Thomas - there's no-one out there. Superbly penned.
