A little child wonders in awe,
At the hues of pinkish orange in the sky,
Setting on the mountain range,
Not only the rice fields grow in gold,
But her dreams begin to unfurl.
She wonders what lies on the other side,
Believing the wide world waits at the peak,
Thinking her dreams are yet to be found there.
And the elusive dreams continue to carry on
In her mid-20s, still captivated by her homeland's view,
She glances at it on her way home
From just another exhausting day of work.
She strives for success, but to no avail,
Why does life seem so sweet for others?
Why can't she grasp what her inner child yearns for?
She tries to see the world but finds herself trapped in a loop,
Yet still wondering what's beyond the mountain.
She thought doing her best would unlock,
The chance to see and wander the beautiful world,
But the mountain range feels like a boundary,
A barrier making her world so small.
What lies ahead there?
Longing to travel the world,
Just like in a movie,
Now she wonders why she can't see what others see.
Why she can't reach what others can reach,
Is there a map for a successful path?
Come on, sell me one.
