After democracy has come into vogue, people have become heroes and heroines;
But for many due to poverty and difficulties, many follow religious leaders and political icons;
Those bogus leaders using money play game in public using people as pawns!

Part 2. Ambedkar, a critic of Jawaharlal Nehru, would have had him in mind when he said this. That apart, the statement is true.
On the 25th November 1949, Dr B R Ambedkar, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly of India said, "Hero-worship in politics will lead to ruin of our democracy."
But cunning fellows in the guise of heroes exploit people to be in power to exploit wealth....correct observation.
