Strong words but think about choosing lasting happiness and peace of mind. A good conscience is worth a lot of personal sacrifice. We don't have a licence to sin just because it brings us temporary pleasure. If we expect to gain eternal happiness we have to exercise our free will for the good of our eternal lives.
