Irrelevant Pride Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Irrelevant Pride

Rating: 5.0

'I am the best,
I am the greatest,
I am the wisest, '
Everybody roars in this way
On the soil of this modern world,
From morning to night
This goes on in an irresistible way,
This sense of pride may be irrelevant or inordinate,
But that doesn't matter at all,
Everywhere it is rampant,
Nobody thinks about himself meticulously
How much he is worthy of this pride,
The result of it is obvious nowadays,
Intolerance, impatience, cruelty, jealousy, frustration contaminate the entire society every moment,
It's a matter of real concern at this juncture.

So true! Cruelty, frustration, impatience, jealousy destroys and contaminates the society around.

Humility is a virtue that very few people posses. The moment the 'I' sense creeps in then every perception changes.

Oh, but it's hard to be humble when you're as great as I am! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
