Irish Forever Poem by michael Smajda

Irish Forever

Oh, Irish trio play me a jig
Only Irish folk know how to play.
I use to sing and dance to these tunes
While living in famous Galway Bay.

Oh, with a fresh Guinness in one hand
And a lovely lass well in my grasp,
The Irish jig never left my soul.
Nor did my heritage ever lapse.
