Invoking Rain Poem by Frederick Kesner

Invoking Rain

Rating: 3.4

When shall it again rain upon
this parched and thristy land?

Will any come off divining
while our heart lay pining?

Shall we again glimpse
that crystal crown upon our king?

Come forth from yon chambers
we beseech thee our liege.
