Invisible You Poem by Rae Seagull

Invisible You

You're with me invisibly
You're there all the time
Standing
Sitting
Walking
Next to me
When I glance around
I see you there
Smilingly
Looking at me
Your presence makes me whole
But mostly you give me
Silent company

I find myself wishing
That we could talk every day
Spend all our time together
Walk through the woods
Every morning
And every evening
Just talking
And holding hands
I wish we could love each other
With abandon
With not a care in the world
No one and nothing at all
To worry about
