Invincible Inclination Poem by Namita Rani Panda

Invincible Inclination

You're not merely an attraction
or sheer temptation.

You're my most important duty
and top priority.

You're my centre of ever flowing affection
and my invincible inclination.

I long for your company in scorching summer or chilly winter
and wait for your loving touch also in drizzling shower.

In spring you look enticing with colourful flowers,
In autumn you're a golden queen with your brown cover.

Your breezy fragrant kiss is so exciting!
You're so caring and soul stirring!

How can I bear your cruel exploitation?
I'll die but give you full protection.

I'll adorn you with lush green trees,
where birds in their nests will sing in glee.

Let others laugh at me for my unusual inclination,
but dear Mother Nature, I prefer to be your faithful minion.
