I hear the message loud and clear - and am also going through the consequences -powerful write Jim Regards Mark
I hear people in their 50s and 60s where I work saying that they will never be able to retire. But what happens if we get too ill to continue working? Supposedly that's what retirement was all about: You put in your long hours and then when your body begins to slow down, you can rest, take it easy, and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Apparently, that can no longer be taken for granted.
I know the feeling Jim! I wanted to drown in a vat of wine when I came home from our last appointment with the Financial Adviser. 40 years of working going going maybe soon all gone! ˇ They cant's stay enthusiastic for too much longer. After all, they are in the mess too! Great poem Jim, it touched a nerve with me. Karin Anderson
Extremely topical subject at the moment, especially here in the old country! The way it's going, I'm gonna have to work until I'm 90!
If you can afford the gin. they didn't get all your money! ! . Great little poem, well done. Jim
Intellegent and wise.. Thanks for sharing Jim. Wish you were still active.
