Inundated with the Light
I have been inundated with the Light
Yet I resist and follow the paths of old
No longer seem to know the fractious night
If trust and honesty be truly told.
I am awash in worlds I do not know,
The inner beings appears to have lost way
Though I follow the call of the Gardens and I go
Into the Chamber at the dawn of day.
This path is long and too the its arduous climb
From the ego driven ignorance release
From the vital and mind to realms of eternal time
And feel the love that I knew would never cease.
If once I could throw off the many veils
That screen the spirit from unity with Thee
I then would know that nothing in life fails
And there will come to earth the harmony
Promised to all who tread with feet of clay
The razors edge or walk the sunlit path.
My aspiration weak I still would say
Despite the endless turmoil and men's wrath
That Thou art all and I Thy erring child
Will come to Thee divested of all sin
And the energy that still remains so wild
And let the moulding of my soul begin.
