Intramolecular Covalent Bond. Poem by Tara Schley

Intramolecular Covalent Bond.

We're as old as the universe.
Once yours and my atoms were enmeshed
- before the big bang of
creation
and the vastness.

Then we found each other again.
- dissociation energy.

heat is produced when bonds are broken...

equal to the difference between the energies of the bonded atoms and the energies of the separated atoms.

We had chemistry after all.
