Intoxicating Addiction Poem by April Humason

Intoxicating Addiction

Thoughts of you, like an intoxicating elixir,
A potion of desire, my senses bewitch,
Your touch, a sweet sensation, I savor,
Each caress, a spell, I willingly hitch.

In your presence, time slips away,
Lost in your allure, I find no sorrow,
Every moment with you, a joyful ballet,
Our connection deepens, a bond to borrow.

Your body, a drug that leaves me blissed,
Every curve, a temptation, hard to resist,
Your skin against mine, a fire unfurls,
In your embrace, my heart unfurls.

Your voice, a symphony, it resonates,
Each word, like a melody, I replay,
With each whisper, my soul elevates,
Your tone, a spell, my heart's cache.

Eyes mesmerizing, I get lost in their gaze,
Endless depths, a captivating maze,
With a glance, my world illuminates,
A glimpse of paradise, my soul obeys.

Lips bewitching, they hold a trance,
A single kiss, my senses enhance,
With each touch, my heart is set free,
In your presence, I'm where I want to be.

Our time together, like soaring high,
In each other's arms, time does fly,
Moments filled with laughter and glee,
A shared journey, you and me.

Addicted to you, I can't deny,
A craving that deepens, it multiplies,
You're the drug I can't live without,
In your love, I'm forever devout.
