Inside Poem by Mark Trajano

Inside

Waiting for the moonlight to shine upon her
as I lift a wish upon a shooting star
in the middle of a windy November-
something for the great heavens to remember.

Raindrops cuts the silence like seven sharp blades;
hurriedly reaches my eyes as it persuades
the timely blossoming of virtues and joy,
as I lift a wish upon a shooting star.

Taking delight in the sight 'f the break of dawn
while lying on the grass so green, imagining;
staring out my fingers; bout her, wondering
in the middle of a windy November.
