Inside Poem by Raja Ali

Inside

Yes I am a savage and an animal

Yet I walk to the bares of the elixir we call life

An animal in denial

And soaring through the fire

It is an unending realm of reality

But partially in hopes of a final enchantment

I do sleep but not to hide

I walk alone and dread the tide

People staring at me, I hope off success

But within myself I grow to be afraid

They have done their work

Its time for the new era to think

Beyond the stigma of hope

Uncovering the new horizons of destiny
