Poor boy and his innocence......a beautiful poem just fill with emotions and innocence.....thank you for sharing :)
His innocence killed not him but the hate on this earth killed him, so sad to note that precious life is taken away as if it has got no meaning, I condemn such killing, heartfelt poetry strongly worded, Asimji.
What a poignant read. Great depth. This is so true of life. It's a description of a protest demonstration apparently but on a deeper level, its a metaphor for life as well. Sometimes, you get punished for just your innocence n naivety. Oh, the irony of it. Too good for 10. Simply exceptional.
I don't find words to voice my anguish, An innocent life put to rest, An innocent act took his life and it is a shame for the entire humanity. When will this agitations stop and when is peace going to rule this world. I don't have answers and I know nor do you. All I know is an innocent life put to sleep for their own selfish motives. You have way with words Asim, you know how to put the message across.. Very sensitive poem...100 plus for bringing forth the truth.
What a horrible story. Bullets against stones is inexcusable. I am saddened.
'His life ended like a playful joke Nobody came forward to claim his body He was naïve villager who came to the city Then suddenly the drama unfolded' Poignant, painful, but very real lines Aism.. I had actually seen certain groups taking kids in theie *protest*.. Maybe we would all do the world a favour if we kept kids out of these stuff that even adults barely understand.. Children deserve a childhood, not these kinds of things.. A very strong poem.. Perhaps one of your best poems.. Thank you for sharing.
