This is one of the best poems I have read recently! We all terribly feel the loss of innocence from this world! ! But it lingers some where, some how....It is not yet time to sing its dirge......!
Your poems are so emotionally tied to them. You could vividly see you in this poem reminded me of another poem the fisherman by kurt brown. Great Job!

Right you are.Innocence is no more.Only in infancy and in second childhood, in the smile of the mother with her child or in abstract things innocence may be found.There is a ray of hope in it.
