Inner Light Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Inner Light

The flames make the soul dream
and scream infinitely; and scream
definitely, of the knowledge gained
from avoiding the grounding influence
of the pit, where illusions mine the mind
with a manufactured foresight, building
up, the veil of twilight, closing off the
opened windows of this wright, in a
spotlight's harsh precision; the
feeling so revealing spreads
across the changing game
that's being played, as
dreams replace self
truths and lights
flying fearful
as the blind
ones shape the
world; eyes black
reflect the nights, as
embers, ingest the lights
of the living, flashing, burning
everything one becomes; a chilling
addiction, hooked on the hype, of the
insane; as insight slices down the middle
and knifes completely apart, my inner light

Aloha Dimitrios... My most profound thanks my good sir... IAM making a fine effort... and it is taking effect in many places... these posts are not viewed herein in the original format... as I have previously mentioned... these are originally center justified... therefore the mess in the lines in this forum... most of my posts are in form... shaped... to express a further message within the work... kinda sorta... sometimes the words make the form or shape... sometimes I manipulate the form or shape to add an enticing attraction to the post... clearly, IAM not pulling that off on this site... no worries... you can view these as they were originally intended to be... at allpoetry.com... same handle used... michaelw1two All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations...
