In the eyes of the wolf
lies a soul,
the soul of truth
One day
that soul will rise
as the indian forefathers
come back to claim their land
Through the eyes of the wolf
the indian man will teach the world
Dave you are a human who feels...! The Seljuks invade Armenian highlands (Anatolia) ... They confiscated and killed Civilized counties did they same For that reason they don't recognize Armenian Genocide
very beautiful...some translations of the King James Bible substitute the wolf for the lion and write 'the wolf shall lie down with the lamb' I believe I have had at least 2 past lives as a Native American
A deep thought provoking poem with many shades of meaning. Truth, as elusive as the soul of the wolf.
Not knowing much about Indian forefathers, but I know the saying What goes round comes round and I guess the message in your poem could well come true on that understanding.
...........amazing poem....the ending is beautifully said ★
An intriguing poem, although slightly ambiguous. Just how exactly will the Indian man teach the world through the eyes of the wolf? I enjoyed reading it in any case, and congratulations on having it selected as poem of the day!
Poets see beyond the immediate with their pens. This is one of such. The real estate owner may rule the land one day. Nice write
May be this a prophesy, who knows. I like the poem it poses millions of questions.
Truth can never be hoodwinked as it will come back one day to show the world that truth cannot be denied it; s share of anything in the world!
